The year 2015 has began with a lot of optimism that was unprecedented as 2014 came to a close. All over a sudden everyone seem to be very confident about the year and the hopes remain high. Without much ado, I will also like to join the bandwagon and wish you a Happy New Year 2015!
However, even as we set our resolutions for this year and get started at a high pace, a few pointers are necessary.
One, success is never served on a silver plata! You have to get out of your comfort zone and dig out the hard cores to reach out for success. A resolution written on the paper is one thing while the actual implementation is very different too. Just like in strategic planning, tightening of the nuts and bolts is always more difficult as compared to deciding which bolt or nut should be used. So get out of that comfort zone and reach out to your dreams!
Two, true success is not measured by material wealth accumulation, but by the positive social impact you create in the society! Making a lot of money does not make you an icon to be celebrated; the social value you add to the world in an effort to leave it a better place is what counts and measures your true success!
Finally, in and by yourself you are just but a feeble creature whose survival is fully dependent on a supernatural power beyond your understanding. Different people call Him different names but I call Him God. Learn to appreciate and be grateful to Him for the day to day provisions as you navigate through your daily hustles. With Him by your side you can smile under any economic storm, as you go sailing through 2015.
